Tools by Joshua Prince - Rhode Island

Based in the US state of Rhode Island, Joshua Prince has been surrounded by the arts since childhood. The son of artists and teachers, Joshua grew up with unfettered access to the various materials, mediums, and creative inspiration that would allow him to flourish. Gravitating toward sculpture from an early age, wood, stone, clay, and concrete have all played the role of canvas in his artistic pursuits, with blacksmithing and bladesmithing stealing his heart and leading him to found Princeworks Forge. Joshua's focus now lies in the creation of world class, one-of-a-kind chef knives and culinary blades. The opportunities to incorporate a wide variety of materials, colors, and texture in to objects that can be held in the hand, contemplated, and put to task in the kitchen, is what Joshua loves about crafting knives. And it shows, in his other-worldly designs, mesmerizing damascus patterns, and larger-than-life culinary objects. We're honored to represent Joshua's work here at Eatingtools.
