Tai Goo - Arizona

As an artist, designer, and creator of handcrafted metal objects for over 35 years, Tai Goo holds both a Bachelor and Masters of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University and The University of Arizona respectively. The precision forging and heat treatment of cutting instruments, including Tai's culinary tools found exclusively in our shop, have become a specialty over the years and Tai boasts a portfolio of stunning and unique pieces from integral presentation-grade dress knives to the one-piece herb choppers found here. Tai teaches knifemaking and metalsmithing at his shop in the Sonoran desert outside of Tuscon and emphasizes, "innovation, concept, design, technique, and original hand craftsmanship," in his work.
