Tools by Patrick Quinn, Center for Metal Arts - New York

An accomplished blacksmith, instructor and current head of the forging program at the Center for Metal Arts in Florida, New York, Patrick Quinn is an talented artist and craftsman, and fortunately for us, he has an eye for building culinary tools. Having taught blacksmithing at schools across the country from Southern Illinois University to the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Patrick's knowledge of metalwork is wide reaching and he regularly creates purpose-built tools alongside artistic sculptures of all variety, from forging hammers to copper, brass and steel decorative pieces. With a particular interest in creating multi-part works that often include mechanical elements, Patrick forms each elements by hand, right down to the nuts, bolts and washers. Patrick's vision is especially well suited to the tools we use daily in the kitchen and we're thrilled to bring you the one-of-a-kind hand-forged kitchen tools he creates.
