Blenheim Double Bevel Deba 165mm

The latest limited edition offering from the Peckham bladesmiths of Blenheim Forge is this handcrafted, versatile, and beautifully executed double bevel deba designed for all manner of seafood preparation and light butchery work. From shellfish to gutting and filleting whole fish to poultry deboning, the strong, weighted, symmetrical blade with low, convex bevels and slightly hollow upper sections for effortless cuts and food release, is the tool for the job. Carefully finished by hand on a series of whetstones, the edge is hard and sharp, precisely shaped for the demanding tasks in which the deba style chef knife excels. Thick at the spine, sturdy at the heel, and slim and pointed at the tip, there's little it cannot do. To complete the package in unique and comfortable style is an octagonal handle sculpted from tapering bog oak with an heirloom-fit bolster of wrought iron. What more could you ask for?
