Micarta 3V Deba 150mm

Crafted from 3V carbon tool steel, a stunning handmade deba by Ben Tendick. Weighing in at 13.2oz / 374g this custom butchery & fish knife balances right at the rounded, polished choil. Expect it to leave lasting memories after just one use. The back side of the blade is hollow-ground and acid washed, the flat of the front side receiving the same finish. Black antique micarta is matched to bias-cut modern brown micarta to create a hand-filling handle, rounded slightly on the left and right, flat on top and bottom. A handmade leather sheath is included.

The Story

Like the one-of-a-kind Rag Micarta 3V Unagisaki 205mm made for us recently, Ben regularly pushes the limits of knife and tool creation at his one-man shop in Eugene, Oregon. Creating Japanese inspired culinary tools with a focus on hard, daily-use and uncompromising function, in addition to chef knives Ben has designed and made a collection of unique titanium sporks, spoons and chopsticks which complement his other wares nicely.
