Striking, polished maple burl tapers gently and comfortably to meet a ring of black micarta, extending onward to the integral damascus bolster and beautiful blade of this Nick Anger petty chef knife. In a mosaic damascus containing 1080,15N20, and 1084 carbon steels, the 140mm / 5.5" blade curves beautifully upward, its polished edge converging with the straight spine, placing the fine, needle-like tip on a plane with the top of the handle. A minimalistic composition of damascus shines with just a few gentle, yet intricate highlights on the dark background of the etched blade surface, elegantly demonstrating the pure artistry of its maker.

The Story

Nick Anger creates stunning, one-of-a-kind chef knives at his one-man shop in the US state of Vermont. Nick's ability to create endlessly unique and always eye-catching profiles is rivaled only by his penchant for uncompromised edge performance, achieved through a tightly controlled heat treatment, quenching and tempering process which he has honed for the steels and incredible damascus patterns he creates.
