Decagonal Brass Pitcher
Brass and geometry converge, forming a distinguished pitcher with a personality all its own, to be used, and admired. Add to ten even panels a handle and tin-plate interior and the result is Kenny Son's Decagonal Brass Pitcher. A stunning example of Kenny's intention to create "work that has 'life,' objects that add significance to everyday environments." With a capacity of around 7 cups (1.6 liters) this is the perfect vessel for water at the table, or tea on the patio. Each pitcher is hand made with joints and solder lines acting as the visible finger prints of the stunning process, the interior bearing the marks of tinning applied by hand using traditional techniques, and the brass exterior is given a beautiful brushed finish that will age naturally with time.
