Sterling Maple Chef 240mm

Lightweight, thin, and balanced just in front of the choil, exceptional looks are not the only thing this chef knife from bladesmith Eliane Leblanc has going for it. Forged by hand at her Massachusetts studio, Eliane created the five-layer blade steel from four distinct carbon alloys, the final geometry showing off the damascus cladding, layer of 15n20 with its high nickel content, and finally, a razor-sharp edge of 1084. A full distal taper and tall primary blade bevels provide a laser-like geometry that will be nothing short of rewarding to work with. In beautifully figured and polished spalted maple, the sculpted handle fills the hand and is topped with solid sterling silver and carbon fiber.
