Gidgee Damascus Slicer 285mm

Long, slim, wonderfully tapered along the rounded spine, and razor-sharp from heel to tip, this 285mm / 11.2" slicer from Joseph Schrum of Halcyon Forge will provide endless joy to the chef and/or host, in the kitchen and/or dining room. We do recommend the 'and' approach...put this hand-forged blade of ladder W's pattern damascus to work in the kitchen slicing fish and other proteins with ease and precision, then show off its head-turning good looks in the dining room to carve and serve at the dinner table. To complement the blade, a long, gently tapered, and very comfortable handle of ringed gidgee is capped with a bolster of African Blackwood, sculpted into a classic octagonal form.
