Warped Damascus Petty Chef 130mm

A hypnotic mosaic of bold, high-contrast damascus, forged in Vermont by bladesmith Nick Anger, graces the 130mm / 5.1" blade of this one-of-a-kind petty chef knife. Robust and durable, Nick creates a blade with properties similar to a honesuki; strong and sharp, including the pointed, triangular tip with enough material behind it for light butchery / breaking work, while still giving the front third of the blade the subtlest touch of lateral flexibility, as Nick's fantastic hardening process often provides. Any chef is guaranteed to find endless uses for the 36mm tall blade that, we would add, rocks quite nicely on the cutting board. For exceptional comfort in the hand, whether slicing mushrooms or butterflying a chicken, Nick has sculpted a handle of two types of maple and a stretch of ebony into an accentuated, organic form that hugs the hand in all the right places.
