Triangular Carved Wood Chopsticks
Carved in the North Carolina mountains by artisan Charlie Ellis, each pair of solid wood chopsticks feature Charlie's captivating and beautifully executed design that tapers with near imperceivable finesse from a triangular top to a hexagonal tip. The upper section's triangle profile rests between fingers securely and comfortably, while the thin, symmetrical hexagon at the tip grasps food with ease. Unusual in all of the ways we appreciate, from the marriage of form and function, to the attention to details from the contoured top edges to the silky, final polish, each handcrafted set is a joy to use. Available in osage orange and blackwood, the blackwood is available in both slim and standard widths.

The Story
A long-time blacksmith and bladesmith, Charlie Ellis crafts one-of-a-kind chef knives at his North Carolina workshop. Drawn to making kitchen cutlery originally by the need in his own kitchen for reliable, high-quality blades, the knives Charlie produced quickly advanced beyond objects of his own use, and soon become objects of art and precision for others to enjoy. Function-first designs with integral bolsters, compound bevel geometry, sculpted handles, and unique materials and blade finishes, are noteworthy elements of many of the kitchen tools in our collection handmade by Charlie.
