Cannibal Fork

Carved by hand from jet-black Gaboon Ebony, the Cannibal Fork is like no other. Terry Widner takes inspiration from the storied ceremonial forks used by the cannibal tribes of the Fiji Islands. Silver inlays stand out in the deep ebony and further add to the feel that this object is for ceremonial use; an ornate, one-of-a-kind carving, if, perhaps, not for the faint of heart. Crafted in Florida by the artist behind Spoontaneous.

The Story

Yet another example of the creativity you'll find coming from the Spoontaneous workshop. Terry Widner forms each spoon and wooden object by hand near his home in south Florida, using reclaimed wood from far and wide.
