Binary Chittum Burl Chef 252mm
Two suns rise in the binary system through which the celestial bodies orbit a central point, pushing and pulling, bending the waves of space and time, energizing worlds unknown. Such is the affect that can be had, albeit on a slightly smaller scale, by a Joshua Prince artwork-turned-chef-knife when in the hand. Designed and crafted to use daily in the kitchen, all the while inspiring with its other-worldly damascus steel that presents a pair of suns and the forces which connect them atop a canvas of dark carbon steel forming the blade's edge. Slim and convex with a full-distal taper and slight flexibility combine to make this full-size, 252mm / 10" blade an excellent daily workhorse. Past integral damascus bolster is a long, comfortable, and gently sculpted handle of chittum burl.

The Story
Gravitating toward sculpture from an early age, wood, stone, clay, and concrete have all played the roll of canvas in Joshua Prince's artistic pursuits, with blacksmithing and bladesmithing stealing his heart and leading him to found Princeworks Forge. The opportunities to incorporate a wide variety of materials, colors, and texture in to objects that can be held in the hand, contemplated, and put to task in the kitchen, is what Joshua loves about crafting knives. And it shows, in his other-worldly designs, mesmerizing damascus patterns, and larger-than-life culinary objects. We're honored to represent Joshua's work here at Eatingtools.
