Ebony Damasteel Deba 165mm
Note to seafood chefs: when James Oatley sets out to build a deba, he does not take the challenge lightly. The Damasteel stainless damascus blade, 5.5mm wide at the spine, receives a jaw dropping two-tone finish, etched deeply, except where it is not. The bevel is polished to a near-mirror finish, providing little evidence of the pattern steel it is shaped from. The back side with concave geometry is finished similarly, etched only where material was removed. An octagonal handle in beautiful ebony is accented with a Damasteel spacer. For storage, a matching ebony saya with bocote wood trim and octagonal ebony pin is included.
