Koa wood tapers gently and comfortably to meet a ring of black micarta, extending onward to the integral damascus bolster and beautiful blade of this Nick Anger petty chef knife. In a mosaic damascus containing L6 and 52100 carbon steels, the 160mm / 6.3" blade is thin and lightweight, tapering to just 0.8mm an inch shy of the tip, providing precision and a bit of flexibility for all variety of slicing tasks.

The Story

Nick Anger creates stunning, one-of-a-kind chef knives at his one-man shop in the US state of Vermont. Nick's ability to create endlessly unique and always eye-catching profiles is rivaled only by his penchant for uncompromised edge performance, achieved through a tightly controlled heat treatment, quenching and tempering process which he has honed for the steels and incredible damascus patterns he creates.
