The house-made feather damascus blade extends outwards from the wa-style octagonal handle for 270mm / 10.6", providing a strong, precise and razor-sharp edge for all variety of prep work. The handle, an appropriate match for the striking blade aesthetic, is as artistic as it is comfortable, featuring an incredible piece of amboyna wood accented by spacers of textured bronze, bog oak, silver, and mammoth tooth. To say that we've introduced Gregg's work to you in apex form is practically an understatement.

The Story

A former fine-dining chef of ten years. Gregg Cimms of GC Knives began his knifemaking journey in pursuit of crafting the world's finest chef knives, driven by a desire to create exemplary versions of the tools he most enjoyed using during his time in the kitchen. Gregg's laser-like focus and uncompromising standards for quality and performance lead to stunning, one-of-a-kind culinary tools, each of which is a piece of art made to pass down through generations of cooks. With a studio in New York's Hudson Valley, every elements of each knife is made by hand by Gregg himself.
