Micarta & 1095 Paring Knife

A beautiful hamon on this differentially heat treated, stock reduction blade in 1095 carbon steel makes for an excellent, everyday use, one-of-a-kind paring knife from Don Andrade. Westinghouse Burgundy & Blue Micarta with rare Blue Ivorite Westinghouse material as inlay over a blind pin complete a perfectly contoured handle with fine touches in all the right places. The knife comes with a cloth-covered storage case as is standard with Don's handmade chef knives.

Practical Beauty Martindale, Oklahoma

This is my second Andrade knife. The knives are thoughtfully and skillfully made. I enjoy the patina process of the 1095 steel and ease of stropping to maintain the edge. It's very enjoyable to be connected regularly with such a tangible and functional work of art.
