Micarta Bird's Beak Parer 95mm

With a handle of beautifully sculpted micarta, this large bird's beak paring knife by Vermont bladesmith Nick Anger feels like an extension of the arm, the undulations of the handle melting into the hand. In Nick's trademark style, a uniquely shaped integral bolster flows from handle to blade, revealing and accentuating nuances in the mosaic damascus pattern. Large and overbuilt compared with some peelers of similar style, this knife has the heft and strength for a variety of creative handheld cuts, with a sharp and strong edge below pronounced convex bevels.
