The Story

Yoav Baitner, of Mad Almond, carves one-of-a-kind spoons and other unique kitchen accessories at his studio in Rehovolt, Israel. In striving to stretch the limits of a familiar object, "charging it with symbolic and morphologic substance" in Yoav's words, he is able to create inspiring and often playful tools which always maintain their functionality and usefulness in their intended application.
